I Love this place! $1 oysters, $3 old speckled hen, and $5 Riblets with Spicy Cayenne BBQ sauce. this is the place to go for Happy Hour (3-6pm Monday - Friday).
During the rest of the day they have killer slow cooked meat some amazing vegetarian options and one of the most comprehensive Whisk(e)y books available.

WOW for some of the BEST pizza around go to Gioia. these guys do some amazing things with Radicchio, Pancetta, Red Onion and Gorgonzola.
The following is what Gioia Pizzeria makes on a regular basis.
1. Acciughe - Cheese Pizza with Salted Anchoives, Hot Chiles, and Fresh Oregano
2. Pepperoni - Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni
3. Radicchio - White Pizza Topped with Radicchio, Pancetta, Red Onion and Gorgonzola
4. Salisicca - Cheese Pie Topped with “Fatted Calf” Fennel Sausage and Fresh Oregano
5. Funghi - Cheese Pizza with Roasted Cremini Mushrooms, Thyme, Parsley and Garlic Oil
6. Italian Ham - Cheese Pizza with San Daniele Ham and Roasted Red Onions
7. Broccoli-Ricotta - White Pie Topped with Broccoli, Capers, Cauliflower, and Ricotta Cheese

WOW, this place is the BEST! They have the most delicious Poached Farm Eggs with prosciutto di Parma & Levain toast and the Café au Lait is the creamiest i have ever had! it’s a MUST for anyone who eats in the east bay
